The Vikings Room is a private room with the most magical & spectacular 180 degree sweeping views of the Gold Coast. The room boasts of a private balcony, white modern décor and fully equipped bar. Our executive Chef has created the most perfect wedding menu to suit any style of wedding or you can create your own menu. This webpage includes wedding packages, wedding suppliers contact, council beach permits and photo gallery. Currumbin Surf Club is surrounded by resort style accommodation and close to the Gold Coast Airport….Escape to Currumbin for a beach wedding like no other.

Table Center Pieces are a part of our package, we will work with you on designing the perfect table center pieces for your wedding.
Room Decorating is also included in all of our packages. This includes, White tea lanterns, a cake table, wishing well and more. We will create your perfect reception theme.
Collect your ideas from magazines & websites & speak with our coordinator to create a beautiful room that will tie your whole theme together. Fresh flowers can be arranged however they are not included in the package. Tugun florist is our preferred supplier for fresh flowers.
Confetti, Glitter or Scatters – Throwing or using confetti, glitter, rice, scatters etc is not permitted. Rose petals are allowed at the ceremony only

Leather ottomans, coffee tables, cubes & fairy lights are a fabulous addition to your cocktail reception. Prices are detailed in the ‘Optional Extras’ in our Wedding Packages.
Your guests loved to be entertained, make a lasting impression at your wedding by having great entertainment. A solo or duet artist/s or DJ can make your special day fantastic and also be your MC for the wedding.

You will need to organise your own wedding cake. Please ask the event coordinator for our preferred supplier list for recommendations. As part of our wedding package, we will set up and decorate your cake table.
If you decide to have cupcakes, you will need to make your own arrangements for a cup cake stand.
You can have your cake delivered to the Surf Club anytime from 7.30am onwards. Please make sure your supplier writes both your names & whether or not the cake is to be refrigerated or not on the top of the box.

Booking the Vikings Room
Choosing a Date
email email@example.com advising you wish to book this date. You will be sent a booking confirmation via e-mail. You will then be e-mailed an invoice for your deposit ($500) which you can pay in person at the club, at any Bank of Queensland or via internet banking ** Please make sure you reference the invoice number when you are paying on the internet.
You will be invoiced $500. This is a non refundable deposit which is payable within 1 weeks of the invoice date otherwise the date will be forfeited.
Weddings booked more than 6 months in advance my be subject to price increases in line with CPI and /or other direct price increases. You will be advised 4 weeks prior to your event on any pricing increases.
60 days prior
You will be required to pay another deposit of $1,000. You will receive an invoice, or you are welcome to pay $1,500 deposit upon booking. This is a non refundable deposit
4 weeks prior
You will be required to confirm the number of guests attending, including bridal party and will receive a final invoice.
If you cancel your wedding you will forfeit your deposits.
Payments any additional food, beverage & sundry expenses incurred during your wedding must be paid at the completion of the function by either cash or credit card (Diners & amex are not accepted).

Poor Weather Plan
Exchange your wedding vows overlooking the ocean, in the Vikings Room
Room set up includes: 1.5 hr ceremony time, silk arches, white linen on signing table with a centrepiece, white chairs for guest seating and white tea lanterns down the isle. Our wedding coordinator will handle all the details…..
$350 with Reception
$500 Ceremony Only
We welcome you to hold your ceremony in the Vikings Room or have the room as part of your poor weather plan. Please be aware that this option is only available if there isn’t a function already booked into the room prior to your reception.
Beach or Park Ceremony
You must seek permission from the Gold Coast City Council to hold your ceremony on public property. Simply, Download the Gold Coast CIty Council Beach Wedding Application , complete it & submit it to Council ASAP to avoid disappointment.
A back up indoor location incase your wedding day is too windy or wet.If you decide to move your ceremony indoors to Vikings Room: we need up to 3 hours prior notice to your ceremony start time. *This option is only available if there isn’t a function already booked into the room prior to your reception.
